Siliguri, 22nd January: The NJP police arrested a man on the charge of being involved in several thefts and snatching cases. The arrested has been identified as Pintu Roy.
According to police sources, a number of complaints were lodged against him at the NJP police station. The police had been searching for Pintu Roy for a while.
On Thursday night, the police launched operations and nabbed him from his house in the Fulbari Chaturgachh area. He was sent to Jalpaiguri court on Friday.
