Siliguri, 24th February: On the charge of stealing pick-up vans, the NJP police arrested 4 men from Kumargram, Barobisha, Cooch Behar and Assam.
The NJP Police arrested 3 men earlier under the charge of stealing pick-up vehicles. Based on a tip-off, the NJP Police launched an operation and cracked another success on Sunday. An individual, Tarapada Sarkar was arrested and 2 pick-up vans were seized from Sarkar’s possession.
The 4 arrested accused were produced before the Jalpaiguri court.
The NJP police have launched an investigation into the incident.
