Siliguri, 29th July: After numerous demands made by workers for COVID vaccine, the NF Railway organized a free vaccination camp for the contractual workers, today. About 400 workers of NJP is said to be vaccinated.
It is to recall, the INTTUC of NJP branch had submitted a memorandum to the railway officer in June demanding vaccination of the workers. Sujay Sarkar, INTTUC convener of NJP branch appreciated the initiative of Railways.
