Siliguri, 21st August: The COVID-19 safe house which has been newly built in Siliguri Indoor Stadium was inaugurated today. Following this, several asymptomatic COVID-19 patients from the Phansidewa Safe House were shifted to the newly constructed safe house.
Reportedly, from now on, all asymptomatic patients from the Siliguri Municipal Corporation area will be kept here.
It is to be noted that 70 beds have been arranged as of now. Oxygen facilities will also be available in case of emergencies. Besides, free WiFi and televisions have been set up inside the safe house to alleviate the monotony of all patients. A fan has also been placed next to each bed.
Doctors and nurses will also be present inside the house to tend the patients.
