Naxalbari, 25th April: A commotion arose in the area when the body of a newborn, wrapped in plastic, was discovered on the banks of the Khemchi River in Kalamjote of Naxalbari. A passerby alerted the Naxalbari police about the incident.
Upon receiving the news, the police promptly arrived at the site, retrieved the body, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for further examination. The Naxalbari police are currently investigating the entire incident.
