Siliguri, 23rd January: Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s 128th birth anniversary was celebrated with utmost respect in Siliguri, as well as across the entire nation.
According to reports, on Tuesday morning, Netaji’s birth anniversary was observed in various locations in Siliguri. The day was also celebrated by the Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC). The programme commenced with the hoisting of the national flag in front of the Netaji Statue located in Netaji More of Subhash Pally. Subsequently, Siliguri Mayor Goutam Deb, Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar, and other officials paid homage to the Netaji by garlanding his statue.
