Naxalbari, 08th April: GNLF leader Neeraj Zimba met BJP candidate Anandamay Barman in Naxalbari. Zimba visited Barman while attending personal work and greeted him ahead of the elections.
Barman began his campaign from Hatighisa’s Zamidarguri in the Matigara-Naxalbari Assembly constituency. On seeing Barman, Zimba extended his greetings and wished him success in the upcoming elections.
Zimba said, “Now all leaders are hybrid. He is a good person. Anandamay will win by a huge margin. Even if I didn’t get a ticket, I am campaigning. Beyond tickets, our target is Gorkhaland. I have been an MLA twice and will get another chance in the future. But change will come to Bengal.”
BJP candidate Anandamay Barman said the campaign is going well. “Neeraj da is a respected leader. We share a good relationship, and we will work together in the future,” he added.
