Naxalbari student Shoubhit wins national award for innovative agricultural machine

Naxalbari, 19th November: Shoubhit Ghosh, a ninth-grade student of Sarada Vidyamandir in Naxalbari, won a national-level award for designing a modern agricultural machine that performs multiple farming tasks with a single button.


Shoubhit participated in the All India Science Fair held in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, where he also showcased a smart blind stick for visually impaired individuals and a plasma ionic thruster model based on rocket science. His innovative models earned him first place in the competition.

Sarada Vidyamandir honored Shoubhit for his achievement. Principal Sujit Das expressed pride in Shoubhit’s efforts, saying, “We have been waiting for this moment for a long time. This award brings immense joy and Shoubhit’s success will inspire others.”
