Naxalbari, 22nd June: Naxalbari Police Station paid their last respects to Ranjit Barman, a constable who tragically died in a road accident.
On Saturday, the body of the deceased constable was brought to the police station from North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). The police personnel honored him with a guard of honour. Naxalbari CI Saikat Bhadra and other officials of the Naxalbari police station were present at the ceremony. Following the tribute, Ranjit Barman’s body was taken to his home.
Constable Ranjit Barman had been serving at the Naxalbari police station for over a year. He lost his life in a road accident after being struck by a four-wheeler at Bhangapool in Naxalbari.
