Naxalbari, 21st August: The Naxalbari Nari Suraksha Manch organized a protest march in response to the R.G. Kar incident. The march began at the Annapurna Kali Mandir in Naxalbari and proceeded to block the state road as a form of protest.
The demonstrators demanded strict punishment for those responsible in the R.G. Kar case. The event saw widespread participation from the local community.
