Naxalbari, 23rd December: The Trinamool Congress (TMC) of Naxalbari Block II carried out a protest rally against the expulsion of 146 MPs from the Parliament.
The rally witnessed the presence of Siliguri Mahkama Parishad Sabhadhipati Arun Ghosh, Naxalbari Block II TMC President Prithvish Roy, and others.
Reportedly, on Saturday, the rally commenced from the party office at Naxalbari and concluded at Panighata More via Station More. During this, TMC workers participated with their faces covered with black clothes.
In this regard, Block President Prithvish Roy stated that the rally was undertaken against the expulsion of 146 MPs. He added that the rally was also against the unfulfilled assurances of the central government.
