The entire nation celebrates the significant occasion after 500 years of prolonged wait, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the consecration ceremony of the idol of Lord Ram in the sanctum sanctorum of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Significantly, the Prime Minister brought a silver umbrella for Lord Ram and thereafter the consecration ceremony of Lord Ram commenced. The ceremony took place at the auspicious ‘Abhijit Muhurta’ of 84 seconds.
Reportedly, the Prime Minister was accompanied by RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Mandir and performed the ‘puja’ with all rituals.
Subsequently, the Prime Minister performed ‘aarti’ with ‘Panchapradip’, and flower petals were also showered by helicopter. The entire Ram Mandir echoed with Ram Bhajan and conch sound, while, the country and abroad witnessed the historic occasion.
