Siliguri, 15th February: The N.F. Railway Employees’ Union of New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Branch organized the 18th blood donation camp at Sabha Bhavan on the occasion of its 66th foundation day. Significantly, the camp has been organized to overcome the shortage of blood.
During the event, the Union’s members including First Branch Secretary Ranjay Chand, President R.N. Adhikari, Second Branch President Prabir Dey, Secretary Bhaskar Tar, Dipankar Roy, Raju Sengupta, Sumit Raut, Mithun Chakraborty were present.
Reportedly, On Thursday, the employees of NJP Railway Station of Katihar Division donated blood enthusiastically in the camp. A total of 120 units of collected blood have been sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) and Siliguri Sadar Hospital.
