Siliguri, 02nd November: A youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Siliguri, shocking the local community. The deceased, identified as Saddam Hussain, was a resident of the Dangipara area.
According to reports, the blood-soaked body was found late Monday night near Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Das Flyover by a patrol van of the Anti-Crime Wing of Siliguri Police. The body was recovered and sent to Siliguri District Hospital. His mobile phone and various documents were used to inform his family.
Family sources stated that the youth had attended a wedding ceremony the previous day and was returning home around midnight. The cause of the incident remains unclear, leaving the family devastated. He is survived by a child.
Police have launched a detailed investigation, reviewing CCTV footage from the area to determine the circumstances of the death.
