Siliguri,31st March: Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated in Siliguri, along with the rest of the world. In Siliguri, Eid prayers were offered at Kanchenjunga Stadium on Monday morning.
Similar to previous years, the Jama Masjid Intezamia Committee organized prayers at Kanchenjunga Stadium in Siliguri. Several people from the Muslim community participated in the prayers.
After the prayers, Jama Masjid Intezamia Committee Imam Ghulam Arshad Barkati extended Eid greetings to everyone.
During the celebration, Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb and several other dignitaries were also present. Mayor Goutam Deb extended his heartfelt Eid greetings to the people of the Muslim Community.
