On Tuesday afternoon, renowned music maestro Ustad Rashid Khan breathed his last at the age of 55 at a hospital in South Kolkata. He was battling cancer for a prolonged period and was admitted to the hospital a few days ago.
Reportedly, upon receiving the news of the critical condition of Ustad Rashid Khan, CM Mamata Banerjee arrived at the hospital. The death of the music maestro resulted in a state of mourning in the world of music.
