Darjeeling MP Raju Bista, along with BJYM President Tejasvi Surya, heartily welcomed the triumphant athletes at the airport in New Delhi.
“This year our athletes achieved the best ever medal haul at the Olympics, but more importantly they gave the toughest fight to their opponents in every sport, and made their opponents made their opponents sweat for every medal,” Bista stated.
“Their hardwork, dedication and pursuit of perfection has inspired an entire generation of children and youths, who will be seeking to emulate their achievements and surpass it,” he added.
