Siliguri, 11th June: Darjeeling MP Raju Bista conducted an inspection of the ongoing works at Balasan Bridge and National Highway 31(C) in Matigara.
Accompanied by BJP leaders Amit Jain, Manjushree Pal, Anita Mahato, Vivek Singh, and Shalini Dalmia, Bista first reviewed the progress at Balasan Bridge before moving on to assess the work on National Highway No. 31(C).
During his visit, MP Bista engaged with local residents, reaffirming his commitment to addressing their concerns. He emphasized his dedication to solving issues faced by the community, particularly highlighting the problems related to roads and drinking water.
Bista mentioned the ongoing Amrut project in Siliguri, with an investment of 511 crore rupees, aimed at improving water supply and infrastructure. He also noted the swift progress of various developmental projects in the hills, including enhancements to drinking water facilities, national highways, and railway services.
