Siliguri, 27th February: Darjeeling MP Raju Bista held a meeting with BSNL officials in Siliguri to discuss various issues, including strengthening the BSNL network in Darjeeling and Kalimpong.
Previously, landslides had caused major network disruptions, but the issue has now been largely resolved. Additionally, BSNL management is planning to install new towers in several locations to enhance connectivity.
MP Bista stated that BSNL’s 4G network has now reached many areas in Siliguri. He also highlighted that the company is currently running at a profit of approximately ₹260 crore.
During the meeting, discussions were also held regarding pending salaries, provident fund (PF), and gratuity payments for various employees.
