MP Raju Bista Collects Soil from Martyr Suresh Chhetri’s Home to Honor India’s Heroes

Siliguri, 11th September: Darjeeling MP and BJP National Spokesperson, Raju Bista, paid tribute to India’s soil and heroism by collecting soil from the residence of Kargil martyr Suresh Chhetri in Tarabari, Naxalbari, as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Meri Maati, Mera Desh” initiative. This program celebrates India’s soil and the heroism of its citizens.


MP Bista expressed pride in including the sacred soil from Kargil martyr Suresh Chhetri’s home in this nationwide endeavor. He emphasized that it would serve as a tribute to the valiant Gorkha martyrs, their families, and the soil of the region. By connecting with the land and honoring the nation’s heroes, this initiative fosters a sense of national pride and inspires future generations to protect India’s cherished heritage.

As part of the program, volunteers and citizens from all corners of the country will collect soil from villages, especially from the homes of brave martyrs. These soil urns will then be transported to the national capital and placed in “Amrit Vatika” in Delhi, symbolizing the unity and spirit of the nation.
