MP Raju Bista campaigns for BJP candidate Durga Murmu in Phansidewa, targets TMC

Phansidewa, 03rd April: BJP MP Raju Bista campaigned in support of party candidate Durga Murmu at Bijlimoni Tea Garden in Phansidewa, seeking votes from tea garden workers.

During the campaign, Bista interacted with workers and appealed for their support. Addressing them, he said that under a BJP government, West Bengal would remain aligned with India, while alleging that under the Trinamool Congress, the situation would deteriorate.

He further claimed that tea garden workers in Assam receive better facilities compared to those in West Bengal. He added that if the BJP comes to power in the state, wages would be increased to ₹350 and workers would receive land rights.

Bista also stated that the election is not just about basic civic issues like water, roads, or drainage, but about the future and identity of Bengal.
