News Desk: Darjeeling MP Raju Bista has announced that he has received an invitation from the Ministry of Home Affairs to attend the second round of tripartite talks regarding the long-standing demands of the Darjeeling Hills, Terai, and Dooars region. The discussions will take place on April 2, 2025, at 11 a.m. at North Block, New Delhi, and will be chaired by the Minister of State for Home Affairs.
MP Raju Bista shared the information through a social media post, highlighting the Union Government’s commitment to resolving regional issues through peaceful dialogue. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for successfully addressing various contentious matters and expressed confidence that the upcoming talks would bring positive outcomes for the people.
He further extended his gratitude to PM Modi and HM Shah for their continued efforts to ensure justice for the people of Darjeeling Hills, Terai, and Dooars.
