Rajganj, 05th September: A minor drowned to death in the Karla River in Gagelghata village of Barapatia Gram Panchayat under Rajganj on Sunday evening. The deceased has been identified as Rajdeep Roy (10). After the recovery of the child’s body, the area was engulfed with an atmosphere of grief.
Reportedly, on Sunday afternoon, Rajdeep went to the Karla River near his house with his friends. During which he went into the river where he fell and drowned. After the incident, locals conducted a search and rescued him. He was then taken to Belakoba Rural Hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead.
