Fulbari, 19th September: In a recent incident of theft, a mobile phone was stolen through an open window late at night in the Purba Dhantala area of Fulbari II Gram Panchayat, causing a stir among the local residents. The incident occurred on Wednesday night when the occupants of the house were sleeping with their windows open to combat the intense heat.

According to reports, Nantu Majumdar, a resident of Purba Dhantala, left his bedroom window open to allow fresh air into the house. Allegedly, a thief took advantage of the situation, using two bamboo poles kept outside the house to reach the window and steal the mobile phone.
