Siliguri, 17th October: On the festive eve of Durga Puja, Siliguri Ward No. 13 Councillor and Member of Mayor-in-Council (MMIC) Manik Dey distributed new clothing among the underprivileged to spread festive fervour ahead of the celebrations.
According to reports, on Tuesday morning, MMIC Manik Dey visited several temples across the city and distributed approximately 100 garments among the people seated in front of the temples. Later, he announced providing clothes to over 100 residents of Ward No. 13 on the auspicious day of Mahasashti.
