Bagdogra, 25th December: Bagdogra’s MM Terai picnic spot saw a lively crowd on Christmas day. The spot, which was devastated by the severe flooding of the Balason River on 4th October, has been refurbished, attracting people for picnic celebrations.
From early morning, visitors arrived from Chopra, Siliguri, and Kharibari to enjoy the festive picnic atmosphere.
Meanwhile, Bagdogra police and forest department officials maintained close surveillance at the picnic spot to ensure safety and manage the crowd.
