Siliguri, 17th September: Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh inaugurated the newly constructed boundary wall of Vivekananda School, funded through the MLA’s allocation.
According to reports, a portion of the boundary wall had been in a dilapidated condition for a long time. After receiving the news, MLA Shankar Ghosh arranged for the construction of the wall at a cost of Rs 6 lakh from the MLA fund.
On Tuesday, the boundary wall was officially inaugurated by Ghosh, with the head teacher and other faculty members present at the event. Speaking on the occasion, MLA Ghosh mentioned that he had studied at the school for many years, and upon learning about the poor condition of the wall, it was decided to proceed with its reconstruction, which was completed and inaugurated today.
