Rajganj, 15th March: In a recent development, MLA Khageswar Roy laid the foundation stone of three roads in Majhiali Gram Panchayat area of Rajganj. During this, Jalpaiguri Zilla Parishad member Uttara Burman, Panchayat Committee member Dut Kumar Das, Arindam Banerjee, Hemant Barman, and others were present.
Reportedly, on Friday, the MLA has laid the foundation stone of three roads in Dangapara, Jamidragach and Sakira Jote areas under Majhiali Gram Panchayat of Rajganj block. Significantly, seven and a half kilometers of roads would be constructed through Pathashree and Rastashree projects at a cost of Rs 4 crore and 25 lakh.
