Islampur, 04th October: The work of the ‘Pathshree Abhiyan’ project commenced in Islampur under the initiative of lslampur MLA Abdul Karim Chowdhury. On Sunday, the MLA inaugurated the construction work in the Kashibari area of Matikunda 2 gram panchayat under Islampur block.
In this context, Chowdhury said that the Chief Minister has also initiated the development of proper roads in remote rural areas. He further asked the locals to approach the ‘Didi ke bolo’ drive if they notice any corrupt work in this regard.
Islampur block BDO Shatadal Dutta, representative of the vice-president of Uttar Dinajpur district-in-council Javed Akhtar, Trinamool leader Mehtab Chowdhury, Kamal Uddin, and many others were present during the programme.
