Jalpaiguri, 29th July: Sensation prevailed in the area after the body of a missing person was recovered from Dhardhara River at Bhatakhana in Jalpaiguri. The deceased has been identified as Kiranchandra Das of Rabindranagar under Ward No. 02 of Jalpaiguri.
According to family sources of the deceased, Kiranchandra Das went missing yesterday. Even after searching many places, no trace of him was found. His body was recovered from the Dhardhara river in Bhatakhana area this morning. However, the cause of death of the person is not clear. Police recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem and have started an investigation into the whole matter.
