Siliguri, 24th August: Two youths allegedly snatched a mobile phone from a youth at knife-point near Don Bosco More under Bhaktinagar police station. The locals are terrified ever since the incident came to light.
Alok Shil, a resident of Balurghat, works at a shop in the Eastern Bypass area of Siliguri for the past 8 years. He was returning from work last Sunday night when two youths on a scooty snatched his mobile phone at knife-point.
Alok lodged a written complaint at the Bhaktinagar police station immediately after the incident. An investigation has been launched.
