Siliguri, 25th July: The residents of Siliguri are increasingly troubled by the nightly activities of miscreants and thieves. The city has been witnessing frequent incidents of theft across various localities.
In a recent incident, a group of miscreants targeted a car showroom near 3rd Mile Salugara, throwing stones and shattering the glass entrance. The vandalism occurred on the night of July 23 and was captured on CCTV.
The footage shows a group of young men approaching the showroom and hurling stones, breaking the glass facade. The miscreants fled the scene when a worker emerged from the showroom upon hearing the commotion.
The showroom officials have lodged a written complaint at the Bhakti Nagar police station, accompanied by the CCTV evidence. The police are investigating the incident, and efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the culprits.
