Alipurduar, 02nd November: Sensation prevailed in the area after three miscreants allegedly attacked Rajya Sabha MP Prakash Chik Baraik’s apartment in a private residence located in Ward No. 4 area of Alipurduar Municipality. The incident resulted in the arrest of the three miscreants.
According to reports, on Wednesday night, the miscreants initially assaulted the security guard in charge of safeguarding the main gate of the residence and dragged him out of the MP’s apartment. Upon hearing his screams, the party workers inside the MP’s apartment rushed to the scene. Subsequently, the other residents of the flat came and held the miscreants.
Meanwhile, upon receiving the news, the cops of Alipurduar police station arrived at the spot and arrested the miscreants. Additionally, the police retrieved a Bolero car and sharp weapons utilised in the act. The entire incident has spread commotion throughout the district.
