Siliguri, 07th February: In a significant achievement, the Siliguri Metropolitan Police has arrested the accused teacher on charges of sexually assaulting a minor in Siliguri. However, the accused is currently undergoing treatment in a nursing home and hence has not been produced before the court.
As per details revealed by Police Commissioner C. Sudhakar, police have been deployed 24 hours at the nursing home to monitor the accused teacher. Police sources revealed that after being discharged from the nursing home, the accused will be presented in court.
It is to be noted that on February 3, the accused teacher had called the minor for tuition and allegedly sexually assaulted her.
