Naxalbari, 01st April: Concern spread in the Mir Jangla village of Nirpani, Naxalbari, after a 13-year-old minor, identified as Ramesh Thapa, allegedly went missing on Tuesday. According to the family, Ramesh had left home in the morning to go to school but did not return by evening.
After extensive searching yielded no results, the family lodged an abduction complaint at the Naxalbari police station. The family alleged that a local youth from Ramak Jote had allegedly lured the boy away.
Based on the complaint, police have registered a case and launched an investigation. Officers are questioning locals and actively searching for the minor.
