Minister of Railways of India departs for North Dinajpur district from Bagdogra

Siliguri, 29th February: The Minister of Railways of India, Suresh Angadi, arrived at the Bagdogra Airport, today, to attend a government function in Raiganj, North Dinajpur. He then left for the Bagdogra railway station via road.


Before leaving for Radhikapur via a special train, Angadi addressed the reporters at the Bagdogra Airport and stated that the Rajganj MP Debasree Chaudhuri had been demanding a train service from Radhikapur to Kolkata, for a long time. Angadi further stated that he will hold a meeting with the railway officials and that the State Government will have to work closely with the Central Government for the development of the railways.

It was reported that the Minister of Railways of India, Suresh Angadi, had arrived at Raiganj to inaugurate a special train from Radhikapur to Kolkata.
