Rajganj, 19th February: Tourism Minister Goutam Deb laid the foundation stone of a paved road that has been constructed from Jatiyakali More under Fulbari-02 gram panchayat of Dabgram Fulbari assembly constituency to Kalangini via Nipania.
Reportedly, the road is being constructed at a cost of around 1 crore 82 lakh rupees under the supervision of the Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Authority (SJDA).
In this regard, Deb said that the locals had demanded a paved road for a long time. More development work will be carried out in the Dabgram Fulbari area in the future.
SJDA Chairman Vijay Chandra Barman, SJDA Vice-Chairman Nantu Pal, Jalpaiguri District-in-council Education Officer Debashish Pramanik, Fulbari 2 Gram Panchayat Pradhan Dilip Roy, and many others were present.
