Rajganj, 30th May: Heavy rain and strong storm winds caused widespread damage in Rajganj Fulbari-2 Gram Panchayat area, a few days ago.
In view of this, the State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb, on Saturday afternoon, inspected the storm hit areas along with the local representatives. He also met the affected families and assured all possible help on behalf of the government.
In this context, the Minister stated that the storm has caused severe damage in Phansidewa, Naxalbari, Kharibari, Rajganj, and Maynaguri. He further stated that after all the areas have been inspected, a detailed report will be sent to the Chief Minister in this regard.
“Every effort is being made to provide all possible help to the affected families”, the Minister added.
