Rajganj, 02nd March: With the announcement of dates for the upcoming assembly election, electioneering has kickstarted across the state in full swing.
Likewise, Tourism Minister and Trinamool Dabgram-Fulbari MLA Goutam Deb attended a wall writing programme taking forwards the party’s newly launched campaign slogan “Bangla nijer meyeke chae” (Bengal wants its own daughter). The event was organized in the Chunabhatti area of Fulbari No. 02 Gram Panchayat.
Addressing the media, the Minister stated that electioneering and wall writing is being carried out in the aforementioned area by the party’s activists ahead of the assembly polls. He added that he is working to reach people from different wards. With this, he said that the people have supported him for the last ten years and hopes they will continue to do so in the coming days as well.
Member of Jalpaiguri Zilla Parishad Devashish Pramanik, Fulbari No. 02 Gram Panchayat Pradhan Dilip Roy, Zonal President Rabiul Karim and others were present during the programme.
