Phansidewa, 16th April: State Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Aroop Biswas met the family of the student who was killed after being hit by a tractor in Phansidewa.
Reportedly, on Tuesday, Minister Aroop Biswas, accompanied by Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb, Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar and Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress President Papiya Ghosh met the father of the deceased.
During this, the minister stated that he had arrived for a visit following the instructions of the Chief Minister. He added that the CM is closely monitoring the matter.
In addition, the minister also visited a private hospital in Siliguri to meet other student injured in the incident.
