Kalimpong, 08th October: Siliguri Mayor Goutam Deb and State Minister Aroop Biswas visited the Rangpo area located in Kalimpong which has been gravely impacted by the flooding of Teesta River.
According to reports, several government officials visited the Teesta-affected Rangpo area, including State Minister Aroop Biswas, North Bengal Development Minister Udayan Guha, GTA (Gorkhaland Territorial Administration) Chairman Anit Thapa, Kalimpong District Magistrate, Mayor Goutam Deb, and other administrative officers.
Following this, all the delegates interacted with the victims seeking refuge in the Rangpo area relief camp and distributed humanitarian supplies among the affected residents.
