Siliguri, 14th September: A memorial meeting in honour of former Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee and CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury is set to be held in Siliguri. The event is scheduled for September 19 at 3:00 PM at the Dinabandhu Mancha (Tathya Kendra) in Siliguri.
The announcement was made during a press conference on Saturday at the Anil Biswas Bhavan in Siliguri. Darjeeling District Left Front Convenor Jibesh Sarkar and Darjeeling District Left Front Secretary Saman Pathak were present at the press conference. It has been confirmed that the state secretary, Mohammad Salim, will also attend the memorial meeting.
