Siliguri, 09th July: BJP Siliguri Organizational District Mahila Morcha, on Friday, issued a memorandum to the Siliguri SDO in support of various demands. In addition to this, they alleged that black marketing is being carried out across the state regarding COVID vaccination.
The members of the organization staged protest for a long time in front of the SDO’s office with placards in their hands. They demanded that priority should be given to vaccinating senior citizens and mothers of children up to 12 years of age. Several other demands have also been made on behalf of the organization.
Julie Tamang, president of BJP’s Siliguri Organizational District Mahila Morcha, said that harassment of the general public and black marketing of COVID vaccines should be stopped immediately. Mothers and elderly people should be vaccinated before the third wave of the pandemic hits the state.
