Siliguri, 23rd June: The Attharkhai Trinamool Congress handed over a memorandum to Matigara BDO Srivas Biswas in support of various demands.
Through the memorandum, various issues were presented including the occupation of government lands, dilapidated condition of the road at Lelinpur area of Shiv Mandir, as well as demand for paved roads.
Sujit Das, president of Atharkhai Region TMC, said that if the administration does not take action on these issues soon, they will stage larger demonstrations. On the other hand, BDO Srivas Biswas assured to look into their demands seriously.
