Siliguri, 30th September: On Saturday, a meeting on climate change was organised under the initiative of the SwitchON Foundation in collaboration with the Department of Geography, Siliguri College. The meeting came following concerns of environmentalists about climate change in Siliguri.
As per reports, the possible measures for the protection of the environment were discussed. The meeting witnessed the presence of members of SwitchON Foundation, including Tuhin Subhra Mandal, Principal of Siliguri College Dr. Sujit Ghosh, Professor of the Geography Department, Jayant Kar, and other members were present.
In this regard, Tuhin Subhra Mandal stated that all possible measures to tackle climate change were discussed. He added that the opinion of all experts in the discussion would be considered.
