Meeting of Rogi Kalyan Samiti held at Belakoba Rural Hospital

Rajganj, 07th August: A meeting of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti was held at Belakoba Rural Hospital under the Sadar Block of Rajganj Assembly Constituency. Several key decisions were taken during the meeting regarding the development of hospital infrastructure, safety, and improvement in the quality of services.


Rajganj MLA and Chairman of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti, Khageswar Roy, highlighted that the construction of the new hospital building, initiated during the COVID-19 period, is still incomplete. The meeting included a detailed discussion on expediting the completion of this work.

Discussions were also held on the overall development of the hospital. Sadar Block Health Officer Pritam Bose stated that several plans are being prepared to modernise and improve the hospital’s infrastructure. He assured that necessary steps will be taken in the coming days to enhance healthcare services.


The meeting was attended by MLA Khageswar Roy, Sadar Block BDO Mihir Ghosh, Health Officer Pritam Bose, Panchayat Samiti Chairman Binay Roy, IC of Kotwali Police Station, OC of Belakoba Outpost Arijit Kundu, along with several administrative and health department officials.
