Meeting held in Siliguri for enhanced security at NBMCH

Siliguri, 03rd December: A meeting aimed at strengthening security at medical colleges and hospitals across North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) was held at the State Guest House in Siliguri. The meeting was chaired by Surajit Kar Purkayastha, the Chairman of the Committee for Security Audit.


The meeting witnessed officials from NBMCH, as well as Raiganj Medical College and Hospital. Attendees including Indrajit Saha, Principal of NBMCH, Superintendent Sanjoy Mallick, Superintendent of Siliguri District Hospital Chandan Ghosh, CMOH Tulsi Pramanik, Siliguri Police Commissioner C. Sudhakar, DCP Traffic Biswa Chand Thakur, and other senior officials were present.

After the meeting, Surajit Kar Purkayastha stated that discussions were held with the authorities of NBMCH and Raiganj Medical College, where the institutions shared their specific security concerns. Later, Surajit Kar arrived at the NBMCH premises for an inspection.
