Jalpaiguri, 30th July: In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the state government urged the citizens to celebrate Eid at home following all the government protocols.
On Thursday, a meeting was held in this regard at the Jalpaiguri Kotwali police station along with the mosque committee and Eid celebration committees.
After the meeting, the committee members stated that namaz should be performed at homes adhering to the social distancing norms.
