Siliguri, 29th July: In response to the complaint from a student about non-functional ceiling fans in the classroom, Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb paid a visit to the Hakimpara Balika Vidyalaya (HS) on Monday.
According to reports, the complaint was made in the recent ‘Talk to Mayor’ program by a sixth standard student of the school. As a result, on this day, Mayor Gautam Deb paid a visit to the school and directed the corporation workers to check if the fans in all the classrooms were functional. Following this, Mayor Deb assured that new ceiling fans will be installed in the classroom at the earliest.
