Siliguri, 04th January: Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb on Sunday carried out a public outreach programme in the Bidhan Market and Khudiram Pally areas of the city.
During the programme, the mayor interacted with traders of Bidhan Market as well as residents of Khudiram Pally, listening to their problems and concerns related to daily civic issues. He also enquired about the facilities and difficulties faced by people in the area.
As part of the outreach, Mayor Gautam Deb visited a house in Khudiram Pally and reminisced about old memories associated with the locality.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Gautam Deb said that the programme had no political connection. He stated that his sole objective was to stand by the people, listen to their problems and make efforts to resolve them, adding that addressing the issues of common citizens is his responsibility.
